Iranian, Omani FMs Hold Phone Call to Discuss Latest Developments

(MENAFN) Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi and Omani Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi held a phone call on Sunday to discuss the latest developments in indirect nuclear negotiations between the US and Iran.

During the call, the ministers reviewed the current status of the talks and coordinated on preparations and technical arrangements for the upcoming round in Geneva, Switzerland, scheduled for Thursday. They emphasized the importance of sustained diplomatic engagement and joint efforts to advance the negotiation process.

Al Busaidi confirmed the schedule on US social media company X, stating: "Pleased to confirm US-Iran negotiations are now set for Geneva this Thursday, with a positive push to go the extra mile towards finalizing the deal."
